Members of Proto Punk New Wave Band BABY SNUFKIN Return to San Francisco to Perform Together for the First Time in 25 Years

Baby Snufkin back together for a show and record release celebration this Saturday, July 27 in San Francisco? Hell yes! I’m there. Count me among the fans around the world who were smitten by the joyous original sounds and good times that accompanied this band everywhere they went. And they went all over!

The touring group pictured above would visit VisionBroadcast in NYC on a regular basis as they made their way from San Francisco to Europe. And I set up the showcase for them at The Roxy which lead to the photo. Read this news release for the back story on Saturday’s show. In summary, Baby Snufkin is celebrating new releases with a live show by the two different Baby Snufkin lineups and special guests.  Snarling vocals, fiery horns, and an uncompromising rhythm section playing proto punk new wave originals with reckless abandon are their trademark. Although it’s been 25 years since their last performance, just consider it Baby Snufkin’s next show and as always they vow to make it a memorable one!

Brad Brooks is playing the opening set followed by the first Snufkin lineup. DJ Romanowski will be spinning vinyl in between and after the second Baby Snufkin live set.  It’s a rare day time appearance at the lively Mission District club the Kilowatt.  Get your tickets here!
